Snow day in Auburn
Yesterday Auburn was under a tornado warning all morning. We had three touch down within a few miles of our place. There were a couple of cars over turned and roofs torn up but we were fortunate not to suffer any damage. From about noon on it turned out to be a beautiful sunny day with temperatures in the mid 70's. This morning however was quite a different story. We woke up around 7:30a.m., looked outside and found the ground covered by snow. Overnight the temperature had dropped to the high 20's and the snow started falling. By them time we got bundled up and went outside there was nearly 6 inches of snow on the ground. We grabbed our cameras and the dog, jumped in the car, and drove to down town to take some pictures. Nikki has hoped for the opportunity to see Samford lawn covered in snow, and today it happened. Everywhere we went people were making snowmen, having snowball fights, and taking pictures. It is now nearly noon and the snow is still coming down hard.

I'm so jealous, because I was working right across the street from Sanford from 6 am to 3 pm so I missed all the snow fun :( but your pictures are amazing and I'm getting to recapture the fun moments through them :) great job!
Nice looking pics - love the last 3!
Wow, I think that's more snow than we got in Kansas!
YAY! Nikki finally got the snow she wanted! Between this and your ski trip - she should be pretty happy!
