My Proposal

Nikki and I took a trip over to Orlando to go to Disney. While we were there we went to the Arabian Nights dinner show. I had gotten us front row seats and special pre-show passes that let us go into the area and meet some of the performers and the horses. After the show we went to the Gaylord Palms for desert. There was a beautiful gazebo in the center of the atrium. I set up the camera and told Nikki that I wanted to take a couple of pictures. Once I got it all set up I took the ring out of my pocket, got down on one knee, and the rest is history.

Thailand Mission Trip Part 2: Udon Thani

After spending the night in Bangkok at a mission house we jumped on a short flight to the Udon Thani province. This is where we spent the rest of our time and where we did the majority of our witnessing. The people of Udon Thani were very kind. We enjoyed many wonderful authentic Thai meals most of which included my favorite side, "sticky rice". It was rice that was tender and soft but would stick to itself making it easy to eat with chop sticks or even your finger, kind of like you would bread. They even had different dipping sauces for it.

This was one of the places where we ate. The food was incredible, especially if you like spicy things.

Here we are outside of a Buddhist Temple with some of the local teens that we were witnessing to.

This was at one of the elementary schools that we went to. While we were there we played games and sang with them.

One of the nights that we were there we went to a trading market. This was where we saw this baby elephant.

We even got to play a couple games of tag football.

Thailand Mission Trip Part 1: Bangkok

This was my first time going on an international mission trip. I went with a group from Lakeview Baptist Church in Auburn. Even though the trip was only a week long we packed a ton of witnessing into it. We traveled to Udon Thani where we with a missionary family. Over the course of the week we went to several schools and parks where we sang, performed dramas, handed out tracks, and whitnesed. In total we saw over 30 people saved. The trip was a wonderful testimony of how God uses those who are willing to go where he leads.

This was the plane that took us direct from Atlanta to Seoul South Korea, just a short 20 hour flight.

California Road Trip Part 4: Grand Canyon

The Grand Canyon was truly a majestic place. The view was absolutely breath taking. Even the pictures of me had that effect on my mom, though I'm not really sure why.

This was our view as we hiked down the south rim.

Hanging out in the canyon was a lot of fun. The view was inspiring.

The view was even better in person.
